OtherARTS is dedicated to the promotion, career development and management of extraordinary composers and new musicians.

OtherARTS is the creation of EMILY MOTHERWELL.

A conservatory-trained musician (Carnegie Mellon and the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University,) Emily made an early move into music business, cutting her teeth at the Houston Grand Opera, and learning on the ground in the New York City arts and culture scene longer than she was ever in conservatory.

With her varied experience — in a contemporary Chelsea art gallery, waiting tables at Cafeteria for 6+ years, from 2006 through the present as the Marketing/PR director at Colbert Artists Management, and now independently through OtherARTS — Emily offers clients and collaborators an informed and individual-specific range of promotional and management services.

Emily began OtherARTS in the Summer of 2010, in response to the changing landscape of the music industry, and the unmet needs of her friends and colleagues in the new music scene.
